The abbreviation 2r is a mistranslation of p2.

And the abbreviations for the cables are as follows:

1/2 RC 1 over 2 right cable: Sl 2 to cable needle, holding on back; k1, k2 from cable needle.
1/2 LC 1 over 2 left cable: Sl 1 to cable needle, holding on front; k2, k1 from cable needle.
